Jill believes in strength-based interventions and treating the whole person, body, mind, and spirit. Her general interests include traveling, nutrition, spirituality, and physical activities. She specializes in GLBT issues, child therapy, families in transition, and foster care issues.

Jill received her B.S. in History from Oregon State University in 1987. She lived in mainland China for a year studying Mandarin Chinese language and traveling throughout the country.

She received her Masters degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University in 2008 and is currently working on her intern hours for licensure (Lic. # IMF 57992).

She has considerable experience helping individuals and families in crisis. Jill has worked as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist and then as Program Director for a 33-bed inpatient long-term care psychiatric unit. She has also worked as Program Manager for the emergency and acute-care psychiatric units of Oasis Rehabilitation Center in Indio.

She is currently under the supervision of Lani Long, MFT (Lic. # MFC 35885) working with individuals, children, adolescents, and families.
