



Graciela Cortes is currently a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (IMF # 59415) who has completed all of her hours toward licensure. She is currently under the supervision of Lani Long, MFT (Lic. # MFC35885).
She also currently develops, organizes, conducts, and facilitates social and emotional support programs for individuals and families touched by cancer, through Gilda’s Club. She has provided therapy services for groups, children, individuals, families and couples. She has also provided services as a school counselor, and has worked extensively with parenting, domestic violence, and child abuse issues for other agencies and organizations.
Ms. Cortes has spent several years as a board member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists-Desert Chapter. In addition, she has been awarded with several professional honors, including the College of the Desert Outstanding Alumni Award, the Division of Developmental Education Outstanding Award, and presented the “Youth-Parent Outreach Project” at the California Partnership Academies Conference in 2006
